Q:other than looking bad is a weeping mortar joint a good strong joint ? I'm looking at a house that was built in 1965 and other than the cement weeping out its not a bad looking house. And if it's a strong joint how hard is it to remove the weep ?
Thanks for the interesting question, unfortunately it appears you want to speak with someone who knows about construction or masonry, but alas we only know about art and community. We are a small community arts organization in Cocoa, Fl. Sorry for the confusion.

Dear friends & fellow builders,
We hope your holiday season was bright and oh so merry. We wanted to let you know we will not be having a Open Mic Night this month, as we are all taking a bit extra time with our families. But, we will resume hosting Open Mic every last wednesday of the month in January 2012. We sincerely hope to see you in the New Year.

Green Drinks
We know what you’re thinking, this isn’t a “drink the Kool-Aid” type event.
We’re simply opening up Brick & Mortar for an informal meet-up of people working or interested in environmental topics. If that’s you, join us Tuesday nights at 6:30PM for Green Drinks, as guest presenter Jonathan Dodd of Keipos leads the discussion about local food and organic farming.
These events are simple, designed to spark conversation and change in our community, and free to attend.
Also, mark you’re calendar for upcoming Green Drinks.
